Each year PSN supports several projects and events. We try to focus our support to more than one area. Our company is interested in foundations, civic associations, cultural and sporting events or teams and also projects connected with education or an environment theme.
The metronome occupies a symbolic place on the map of Prague. It was here that the giant monument of J. V. Stalin, which was removed (by dynamite) only years after Stalin's death, in 1962, once risen to the sky.
The seven-ton metronome installed in 1991 symbolizes the relentless passage of time and a warning reminder of the past.
Paediatric Oncology Day
Paediatric Oncology Day is held with the goal of improving the care of child cancer patients and to raise the awareness of children’s oncology.
We have also decided to support a good thing and are trying to help raise the awareness about the issue of paediatric oncology. The event includes discussions that take place in the National Theatre, workshops, children’s games and a raffle. The entire event culminates in a parade of lanterns, which ends with a concert on Wenceslaus Square.
We are supporting, as the main partner, the first annual SCULPTURE LINE festival of sculpture, which is an open-air presentation of statues and works of art from leading local and international artists, right in the streets of the capital city of Prague. The goal of the exhibit is to improve and enrich the public space, to offer a new view of both Prague and the works of art themselves for citizens of and visitors to the city.
SCULPTURE LINE is a long-term concept, with the goal of becoming a new tradition. We invite you out to the streets. Come outside, take the “Sculpture Line” and enjoy this unique summer exhibit.
Ever since 2004 the mission of Centrum Sámovka has been the universal support and aid for children, youth and of-age young people who live or have lived in the past in institutional care or in facilities for children requiring immediate aid or in the care of foster families.
Sámovka implements programmes tailored for various groups of children and youth. Their goal is to mentally support clients to help overcome difficult periods in their lives, to help them look for new sources of balance and certainty, to teach them new skills, to give them the knowledge and information they require to successfully manage their first steps of an independent life, to teach them how to decide and how to accept responsibility for their own lives and future.
